Our technology ought to be the means of a universal cultural sharing, and we who «discovered» the rest of the world should be the most eager to share, learn, and integrate. Un dels aspectes que s’ha tornat a posar sobre la taula en els fòrum de la UOC (en l’assignatura Ensenyar i Aprendre en línia) és que tot i l’acceptació de que les possibilitats de treballar en xarxa han significat un enriquiment en les tasques i en l’aprenentatge, cal superar les limitacions inicials en l’assoliment de les destreses necessàries per actuar de forma autònoma i eficient amb aquestes noves eines. Un cop més ha aparegut la qüestió de l’esquerda i els natius digitals.
